Everett is the north end of our regular territory. We drive up I-405 and I-5 from Renton, about 45 minutes outside rush hour, and serve both halves of the city: the historic north Everett grid around Rucker Hill, Riverside and Port Gardner, where chimneys are old brick, and the 1970s–90s subdivisions of south Everett, Silver Lake and Eastmont, where most chimneys are factory-built.

We offer chimney repair, crown rebuilds, chase cover replacement, sweeps, cleaning and inspections. Everett quotes are free, as is a second-opinion quote on someone else's quote, and we match that price and take 10–25% off. Same-day service is often available when a truck is already north. Sweep and inspection starts at $299. If you're not happy, we're not done.

We cover all of Everett: Downtown, Bayside, Port Gardner, Riverside, Rucker Hill, Delta, Lowell, Boulevard Bluffs, Harborview, Silver Lake and Eastmont, across ZIP codes 98201, 98203, 98204 and 98208.

Local Conditions

Chimney problems we see in Everett

Everett sits on Port Gardner Bay, and its chimneys face the wet-season load recorded at Sea-Tac: about 73% of the 40.34-inch annual normal falls October through March, with November the wettest at 6.31 inches. Winter nights average around 37°F with roughly 60 days a year dipping to freezing, so saturated brick on bluff-top homes freezes and thaws repeatedly. Moss spreads fastest October to April on shaded, north-facing surfaces like Everett's tree-lined older streets.

Everett's median home was built in 1981, but that number hides a split. North Everett's pre-1940 homes typically have brick masonry chimneys with aging mortar, original crowns and often no cap, so a Riverside call usually means brick and crown work. South Everett's 1970s–90s subdivisions typically have factory-built fireplaces in framed chases with a galvanized cover, so a Silver Lake call usually means a rusted cover or leaking chase.

Questions

Everett chimney service FAQ

Is Everett too far for same-day service?

Not always. It is about 45 minutes from our office, and when we already have a crew in Snohomish County we can often add an Everett stop the same day. Otherwise we give you the next north-county date when you call. Either way the quote is free.

My north Everett chimney has no cap. Does that matter?

Yes. An open flue takes in rain every wet month, which soaks the brick and rusts the damper, and it invites birds and raccoons. A cap is an inexpensive fix compared to the masonry damage it prevents. We replace or install caps and check the crown while we are up there.

Do you handle the metal-chimney homes in Silver Lake and Eastmont?

Yes. Those are factory-built systems, and the usual failure is a rusted galvanized chase cover leaking into the framed chase and rotting the top of it. We replace covers starting at $299 and repair or rebuild rotted chases, with chase rebuilds starting at $299.

Can you give a second opinion on a quote I got from an Everett company?

Yes, and it is free. We look at the chimney, tell you whether the quoted scope matches what it needs, and if it does we match the price and take 10–25% off. If a smaller fix will do the job, we tell you that instead.

Do you serve Mukilteo, Mill Creek and Marysville from Everett?

Yes. Mukilteo and Mill Creek are on our Everett route, and Marysville and Lake Stevens are road-accessible a bit farther north on I-5. We build those stops into the same north-county day, with the same free quote, price match and re-do guarantee as Everett.
